Tumbleweed Photography loves taking sports photos. It was my privilege to take the Bend Senior High Schools track team photo again this year! After the team photo, I took individual photos of the athletes. This weekend is the District 6A finals and one of Bend's athletes achieved the State's highest mark in

the 200m with a 24.8 pr time. So very proud of Maya!

I was privileged to take photos of this beautiful, courageous survivor of human trafficking last week. Caelia was trafficked as a young child. She is writing a book about her experience and Tumbleweed Photography is taking her book cover photos! Look for, "By a Miracle, a Journey of Healing and Forgiveness" to be published later this year or early 2020.

In August 2017, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  During my treatment I took selfies of myself that I rarely shared with anyone else.  Looking back, I think I wanted to prove to myself that I was still here, and I wanted to see "me" not my disease.  Everyone has a different journey and my journey has led me to do something positive with my photography…..something that would benefit others that have struggled with illness. Today, I realized my dream through this courageous, beautiful, strong woman. Rebecca Anne is battling adenoid cystic carcinoma. She is beautiful and her eyes truly are the window to her soul. Rebecca Anne leaves shortly for Seattle for radiation therapy. I love her and I hope everyone who sees these portraits will send light and love to her.

Rebecca Anne loves her bunnies (Stuffed and real!!)
